I made this necklace over 10 years ago.
Not many of my personal pieces survive this long. When I tire of something,
I either sell it or cut it apart and reclaim the beads.
So if it lasts, it's special!
This piece was made with brass findings and beads, vintage, jewel tone metal drops and donuts, vintage, sparkly drops and connectors, Swarovski crystals, & reclaimed bits and pieces of jewelry created by Ayla Barr.

This set started with a bracelet that was broken. So, lemonade out of lemons. . .I removed the broken segment and used it to create this necklace.
I used Moonstone, Peridot, Sterling Silver, & Aquamarine.
While it isn't present in the bracelet, the blue/green color of the Aquamarine beads matches the
glow of the Dichroic Glass perfectly.

I can't wait to wear this!
It was a bracelet I hadn't worn in over 10 years. It is now a beautiful and dramatic necklace!
Over time, I lost the fear of cutting jewelry apart. Now, nothing is safe. Even the more expensive pieces.
If I don't wear it, what's the point in having it?
What's the worst that could happen? I hate it?
No problem, just use jump rings to reattach the sections and the clasp.
What's the best that could happen? THIS NECKLACE!
