"Unexpected Elegance" - Raw Kunzite and Sterling Silver Statement Necklace - $200.00
This page is dedicated to what I am creating right now! Creating a collection takes time. Usually, a couple months of solid creating with no other distractions. So, in honor of those times when I am working on creations for the other parts of my business: Gallery Uptown, a Lakeshore Visual Arts Collective pop up show, or something gorgeous for myself, I present, "What's New?". Some of these items will be available for purchase. If you are interested, please click on the, "Contact" button above and send me an email.

May 2020 Well, I let myself get a bit behind on my, "What's New" posts. But, since May was either the blink of an eye or 1,000 days long, depending on how you look at it, I'm not going to beat myself up about it. What I am going to do is create my own version of a montage. Get comfy. Here we go!

3/11/2020 I made this necklace over 10 years ago. Not many of my personal pieces survive this long. When I tire of something, I either sell it or cut it apart and reclaim the beads. So if it lasts, it's special! This piece was made with brass findings and beads, vintage, jewel tone metal drops and donuts, vintage, sparkly drops and connectors, Swarovski crystals, & reclaimed bits and pieces of jewelry created by Ayla Barr.
3/8/2020 Another piece for Gallery Uptown's March Show, "March Music". Freshwater Pearls, Moonstone, & Sterling Silver bells came together beautifully to form, "Angelic". This piece is $115.00. Please contact me if you're interested.
3/6/2020 I created this gorgeous piece for Gallery Uptown's March show, "March Music". 2/26/20 This set started with a bracelet that was broken. So, lemonade out of lemons. . .I removed the broken segment and used it to create this necklace. I used Moonstone, Peridot, Sterling Silver, & Aquamarine. While it isn't present in the bracelet, the blue/green color of the Aquamarine beads matches the glow of the Dichroic Glass perfectly. Want her for your very own? $325.00 for the set and I'll even include the cute Moonstone briolette earrings.
2/25/20 I can't wait to wear this! It was a bracelet I hadn't worn in over 10 years. It is now a beautiful and dramatic necklace! Over time, I lost the fear of cutting jewelry apart. Now, nothing is safe. Even the more expensive pieces. If I don't wear it, what's the point in having it? What's the worst that could happen? I hate it? No problem, just use jump rings to reattach the sections and the clasp. What's the best that could happen? THIS NECKLACE!
